Surplus: Terrorized into Being Consumers, is a clever video montage about consumerism by Swedish filmmakers Erik Gandini and Johan Söderberg. Starring George Bush, Silvio Berlusconi, Jacque Chirac, Vladimir Putin, Tony Blair, Fidel Castro, Bill Gates, and “anti-globalization guru” John Zerzan . Don’t miss the great montage of Steve Ballmer going apeshit at a Microsoft conference (min. 37:15).
I found a direct download link (right click, save as). It’s a large higher-resolution .avi file, but I had trouble getting it to work. Maybe you’ll have more luck.

Hi, haven’t tried to download the AVI yet (am at work) - but are you still having trouble watching it? If so, have you tried VLC Player? I’ve only ever met about 3 videos it couldn’t play.
Actually, I already have a copy of the movie, so I didn’t check the downloaded version from that site. I tried watching it directly on the site and my browser uses quicktime by default (which I guess doesn’t have the right codec). I’ve downloaded other movies from that site and they all work fine on the mighty VLC.
